Hello Boothies!

Applications are now CLOSED for 2024.

Thank you for your interest in applying to the Mt Airy Village Fair as a “Boothie” (our name for vendors and participants). Before you jump into the application we wanted to share a quick overview of what to expect in the application and during the Fair.

Required Interactive Component: We want every aspect of the Fair to draw participants and enhance everyone’s experience through interaction and activity! We are unique in our requirement for an interactive component at ALL booths. It can be a “Make & Take” item, a game, a quiz, a demonstration or activity that contributes to a group art piece or project. You can charge a fee for the activity or it can be free. It can be related to your booth purpose, or it can just be something fun to bring people to your space. Our selection process will be partially based on the interactive component of your booth.

Zero Waste & Amenities: Mt Airy Village Fair is zero waste. This is a carry-in-carry-out event. Please bring your own tables, chairs, tents, and recycling receptacles. The Mt. Airy Village Fair takes place rain or shine; we recommend bringing a Tent for both rain and sun protection. We do, however, also have just Table spaces available. We cannot provide electricity or water sources for your booth, nor can we rent a tent or tables for you.

Boothie Selection Criteria: Boothie selection is competitive. Applicants are accepted based on the strength of the interactive element of the booth, your connection to the Mt. Airy community, your zero waste commitment, and your agreement with our community commitment statement. In addition, any and all items for sale must be handmade by you, the Boothie (no agents or resale items are permitted).

Booth Fee: Fees for applying to be a Boothie are based on a sliding scale. We want to encourage all who wish to participate to apply. In the application you will have a chance to select a fee between $15-$65 based on your comfort level.

Contact: Please feel free to email villagemtairy@gmail.com with any questions prior to submitting your application and fee.

Applications are now CLOSED. Feel free to reach out to the fair if you have questions or would like to be considered for a boothie or performance space. We can’t guarantee that there will be space at this point in the planning; but feel free to check in! If you have already applied, the planning committee will respond to all applications by Friday, August 30th 2024. The Mt. Airy Village Fair will refund any booth fees for those not accepted to participate in this year’s fair.
